The Tattoo Generation

For many years tattoos were associated with soldiers, sailors, bikers and criminals. A tattoo was a mark that was more often than not frowned upon.

Recently tattoos have become more accepted by the older generations but they still are on the outskirts of social acceptability. A tattoo can still cost you a job, get you a dirty look from a conservative parent, or even prevent you from getting a date. The fact of the matter is that more and more of the younger generations are getting tattooed. They use this amazing art form to express themselves.

A tattoo does not make you a bad person, it just means you want to preserve something on your body forever and are willing to go through the pain of getting it.

Those of us in the tattoo generation do more for the world than many think we do. We are everywhere and our numbers grow everyday...

We are work hard,

We play harder,

We are a generation that has found something and made it ours. We use tattoos to tell our own story to the world. Some use tattoos to memorialize those they love, those they lost, and those who have touched their lives. Some use tattoos to show their spirit, or their humor, or the trials of their lives.

Most that have them are proud to share theirs...
